SOE Fan Faire Announced- August 14th-17th in Vegas!!!

Fan Faire Returns to the Las Vegas Hilton,
August 14 – 17, 2008!

If you’ve never been to an SOE Fan Faire before, you’ve been missing out! Fan Faire is a great place for SOE gamers to mix and mingle with each other and meet some of the faces behind their favorite SOE games. Here’s just a taste of some of the great stuff we’re planning:

  • In-game tournaments
  • Live, game-themed tournaments and quests
  • A costume contest
  • Lots of social activities, including a Kickoff Reception, a Grand Banquet and a VIP Party with live entertainment
  • Sneak peaks at SOE titles currently in development
  • The 2nd Annual Community Address from SOE President John Smedley
  • Developer forums and roundtables

I’m soo in. Plane tickets and hotel are booked, just waiting on the early bird registration for the FF tickets. I think we have a head-count of 15-20 from our guild this year. Weeee this is gonna be a blast…penny slots here I come! (you can’t beat drinks for pennys on the dollar har har har!)

Any chances on organizing an event in europe one day? There’s a lot of people here wanting to attend one of these sometimes. 8000 km to Vegas is a tad too much tho.

Hey random question….

I use to play everquest a LONG time ago.

Like 5 years.

Was just wondering if alot of people still play EQ and is it worth getting it again??

Is it alot different? or still pretty much the same. I know All the expansions and stuff but was just wondering if game play was the same. Thanks
