How about an update to the poll?
I don’t see why the deadline we were promised for this wasn’t met, it is just a POLL.
When is the “scheduled” launch date for the new server going to be? It was supposed to be March but is it now going to be May or later due to the problems with the merge?
I think a lot of players were hoping the new server would be tied into the 10th Anniversary, and that we would be able to participate in some special events there (since we obviously wont be killing fabled mobs within 2 weeks of the server opening).
It would be great if you found a way to include this new server into the plans for the 10th Anniversary, while also allowing those who choose to “start over” on the actual release date, some nostalgic items/events like the live servers will see. This would also provide an added incentive to re-subscribe (or start playing on this server without thinking you are missing all the fun of the Fabled mobs, special items and loot, planned events, and whatever else will happen for this celebration on the other servers) and start over on the new server at its launch date, like it was day 1 back in March of 1999.
I think the new server should be able to participate and have the chance at getting some special items commemorating the Anniversary like the other live servers will have. Although with the way things are looking, I would be surprised if the server is even launched before the 10th Anniversary party is over.

I was waiting for this new server, but I guess I have to get over Nostalgia and move on.
This is bad communication. Don’t want another game to complain about. I’ll stay where I am for now.

Would also like an update on the new server. I have been planning to re-subscribe when it opens, however I dont know when it will or even what kind of server it will be. Please let us know!

No word on the new server yet? With the amount of requests for news on the poll and the launch the least you could do is comment on it. Not doing so is just insulting to your customer base. It is beyond bad communication.

I don’t know why the 51-50 server wasn’t implemented without a poll. It is the most unique of the choices among the poll. Progression, standard, and PvP have been done already.
